Silk Presses
Results may vary for each client based on hair texture, density, and health. If your hair is not suitable for a press, I will inform you and provide a wash, treatment, blow dry, and trim service instead. Additionally, I will offer a personalized hair care routine and recommend products to help prepare your hair for a future press. Please note that heat damage is a possibility, but I take every necessary precaution to minimize this risk. Please refer to images below for after care tips.
Color Services
An in-person consultation is now mandatory. Please select 'Consultation' under the Color Services tab and complete the form in its entirety. The date and time selected should be convenient for you. A patch test will be administered during the consultation to ensure no allergic reactions occur. Please arrive at your color appointment with clean, detangled, and product-free hair. Alternatively, a pre-wash service can be added to your appointment.
Kids Services (Ages 12 & Under)
All kids' services include a shampoo. It does not include treatments, but I highly recommend adding them to every other service. Beads, bows, knockers, and other hair accessories are not included; however, I typically have clear or white beads on hand. The salon offers Wi-Fi and I offer snacks. As a stylist, I am very patient and understanding when working with children who may show discomfort during services. For kids who struggle with the service process, I do not recommend smaller braids. If I do not see improvement in your child's behavior after the initial visits, we may need to discuss a change of location to ensure the comfort of all clients and stylists in the salon.
Add-Ons
When booking, it is important to carefully consider and select the necessary add-ons to ensure your service can be completed within the scheduled timeframe. If you fail to select the needed add-ons, your service may be incomplete, or additional cost may incur. Please note that adding services at the time of your appointment may not be feasible due to time constraints.
Extension Services
Shampoo is not included in the standard service but may be added as an optional extra. The included hair color is 1B; if you prefer a different color, please inform me at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. The standard braid length is mid-back, but longer lengths are available as an add-on. To select the correct braid size, please refer to the parting/sizing chart below. For optimal results, please arrive with hair that is at least 4 inches long, blow-dried, and free of product. Please note that applying product to the scalp and hair before the braid service may compromise the finish.
Packages
Packages are designed for individuals committed to achieving their hair goals through consistency and dedication. These packages offer significant savings and can be purchased multiple times. Upon payment, a unique code will be automatically generated and emailed to you, which can be used to book appointments. Please note that a $20 cancellation/rescheduling fee applies if appointments are not canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time.
